Bombardier is set to unveil its award-winning Challenger 3500 business jet to Europe at the 2023 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland. The jet, which launched in September 2022, will be showcased along with the industry-leading Global 7500 aircraft, and a newly certified pre-owned Challenger 605 aircraft.
The Challenger 3500 is a significant step forward in Bombardier’s eco-design journey. The cabin is fitted with top-notch sustainable materials, minimizing environmental impact. It stands with the Global 5500, Global 6500, and Global 7500 as the only business jets with an Environmental Product Declaration, providing a transparent view of their environmental footprint.
Jean-Christopher Gallagher, Executive Vice President of Aircraft Sales & Bombardier Defense at Bombardier, expressed excitement about introducing European customers to the high-quality, sustainable design of the Challenger 3500. He highlighted the aircraft’s exceptional comfort, performance, and lower environmental footprint.
The aircraft’s interior features cutting-edge technology, including voice-controlled cabin, wireless chargers, and 24-inch, 4K displays. The Challenger 3500’s excellent cabin experience earned it the Best of the Best honor at the 2022 Red Dot Awards for Product Design.
The Challenger 3500’s flight deck boasts more standard features than its competitors, including an auto-throttle system for an enhanced pilot experience. The aircraft also introduces the first eco app in business aviation, enabling optimized flight plans to save fuel and reduce the aircraft’s environmental footprint.
The Challenger family’s reliability is a standout feature. With over 890 Challenger 300 series business jets in service globally, this aircraft family is known for its reliability and safety, amassing over 3.6 million flight hours and more than 2.1 million landings.
